Miscanthus

Eulalia Grass, Maiden Grass -Native to Africa and Asia, this group contains large ornamental grasses known mainly for their spectacular Fall show of flowers. Most of the well known cultivars are from the species M. sinensis. Many cultivars have brightly variegated leaves that change to tan or brown in fall.

Lily Turf, Mondo Grass -Grass-like evergreen perennial closely related to liriope. Forms small tuffs that slowly spread. Small flower spikes in summer followed by shiny bluish-black berries. Cultivars come with variegated leaves and colored foliage.
