Spurge -Worldwide distribution. Incredibly diverse group of plants. They have striking forms with interesting leaf and flower colors. Some have thorns like a cactus or thickened stems like a succulent. Many possess a milky, usually caustic sap that can cause a mild skin irritation. Be very careful to not rub in or around the eyes.
